Party Search FTL?
ok what if it was possible to sell stuff for the prices you want when you are AFK?
well thats simple
If A-net could make an improved trade system such as
every1 could have a screen you put the items you want to be sold in this screen you put the prices on each item and go afk. and how other players would know what they are selling over they're name have like a comment thing such as "selling factions greens" or whatever that way reduces the scams in game and the annoying spamming and an optional idea is have like a bidding, so when the seller gets back you can hassle each other for the price... this isn't exactly like a whole game auction house it's more of a personal auction house.

One of the free MMOs out there, and it so happens that everything you mentioned is just that way in that game. You have a pretty large inventory space to sell things at your location, you give your "shop" a name which stays over your head, you put a price on the items you put in your sell window. You can go AFK while people go up to you and buy things at your price.

Same thing happens in Trickster, too. And a few other RPGs that I forget. I always hated those systems. Annoying to click on the names above the heads when they're practically on top of each other in the hundreds.

Well if they did do this, and keep trades in party window, then they surely could also add a Go To or Target Party Leader function so you could get to them while they're AFK.

That would work well, but there'd also need to be a timer on how long you can trade with someone using that system. Otherwise people would lock trades.

Well obviously they'd allow more than one person to see the goods at a time. The trade window in the game right now is good for the kinds of trades that go on, but it wouldn't work for something like this. If Anet took interest in the idea, they wouldn't try to make it all work on the dinky trade window, because it wouldn't.

This is acctually a very nice idea and might boost the econemy abit. People lsot interested in trading because its jsut way to hard to sell stuff but by jsut going afk you dont waste time
